Delicious and low-calorie dish: diet pita rolls. Diet fillings for lavash Low-calorie lavash rolls

For various reasons, many of us prefer to eat lighter foods - they have less fat and carbohydrates and, of course, no yeast. Our article on how to cook diet pita bread in the oven by itself or with various fillings, as well as how to make a strudel out of it. In addition, in our selection simple recipes there is one that can be used to make lean bread, which can be eaten by both vegetarians and everyone who is fasting.

To begin with, let's prepare a diet pita bread with a minimum of components.

Lean lavash made from whole grain flour

Ingredients

  • - 200 ml + -
  • 2 pinches or to taste + -
  • Whole grain flour- 200 g + -

Cooking homemade dietary pita bread

In this recipe, the main thing is not to violate the technology, so that after baking the pita bread does not turn out to be too tough.

  1. Pour the flour into a deep bowl, then add a pinch of salt and gradually pour in hot water... It is needed precisely to give the dough elasticity, so the finished pita will not break.
  2. Mix the very hot mixture with a spoon, then begin to knead with your hands.
  3. Roll and knead the dough for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Now we wrap it with foil or put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for 25-30 minutes. The dough also needs to "rest" to maintain its elasticity.
  5. We take it out over time, divide it into several parts and roll each one out on a floured table on both sides.
  6. When the first cake is ready, put on a very hot skillet and fry on each side until dark specks appear. We immediately remove and wrap in a damp towel.

We cook the remaining pita bread in this way and wrap each with a towel. Let stand for a while and stack in a pile.

As you can see, pita bread according to this recipe is made practically "out of nothing" and can definitely be considered dietary and lean.

Now let's try to cook the cake in a slightly different way.

  • Whisk 1 a raw egg with a pinch of salt, add black pepper if desired, mix everything again.
  • Slowly pour in 50 ml of water, and add 2 tbsp. bran and the same amount rye flour... Mix well until smooth and roll out on the table.

It is best to bake such a dietary pita bread on a silicone substrate, this will eliminate the need to lubricate the surface with oil and from possible burning.

We put in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and keep it for 7-8 minutes. Let the finished pita bread cool and serve.

Well, for those who do not mind pampering themselves even diet pita bread, we recommend trying to cook it according to the following recipe.

Diet lavash with feta cheese

Ingredients

  • Oat bran - 2 tablespoons;
  • Wheat bran - 1 tbsp;
  • Egg - 1 pc.;
  • Sour cream 10% - 2 tablespoons;
  • Grated cheese - 2 tablespoons;
  • Fresh chopped greens, salt, pepper - to taste.

Cooking diet pita bread

  1. We mix both types of bran with an egg, then add the rest of the ingredients: grated cheese, sour cream, chopped herbs. Mix everything properly.
  2. We spread the resulting thick mass in a greased pan, put on a small fire, cover with a lid and fry on one side.
  3. When it is ready, turn it over and fry it without a lid. Each side takes about a couple of minutes.

Transfer the finished pita bread to a dish and let it cool.

Cook Tips
If you want to make the cake thicker, add ½ tsp to this amount. baking powder. So the bread will turn out to be very similar to lush yeast pita bread.

This cake can be used both as a base for pizza and as a healthy bread.

In addition, you can wrap any fillings in pita bread, and if you approach them competently, a diet lunch or dinner will turn out to be unusually tasty.

Diet fillings for pita bread

Depending on the consistency of the filling and the desired effect, they can be served in different ways: we twist it into a roll and then cut it into portions, wrap it like a pancake with cottage cheese or meat, just put it inside on one half of the lavash and cover the other.

We offer several simple and delicious dietary fillings for pita bread.

Cottage cheese

  • Mix a pack of low-fat cottage cheese (180-200 g) with a fork or grind in a blender with 1 clove of garlic and ½ bunch of fresh herbs.
  • To make the consistency a little thinner, dilute with plain filtered water. This will not affect the taste in any way, but it will not add calories, unlike cream or sour cream.
  • It is also delicious to include ½ fresh cucumber - it can be grated and 1 tomato. It is not necessary to remove the peel, just cut the fruit into cubes and stir in the curd.

If you want to replace the garlic with a radish, grate it three or send it along with the herbs to a blender.

Avocado

  • Peeling 1 ripe avocado, remove the bone and knead the pulp with a fork.
  • Add to it ½ cans of tuna or pink salmon canned in our own juice.
  • Grind everything again, salt and pepper to taste.

If desired, include a few olives and a couple of tomato circles in the composition.

Cheese and Korean carrots

  • 150 g three cheese on a coarse grater, add the same amount of Korean carrots, mix.

If you want to soften the consistency a little, mix in 1-2 tbsp. light yogurt without additives.

Chicken and cucumber

  • Boil 150 g of chicken fillet, and while it cools, cut 2 small cucumbers into slices.
  • Divide the chicken into pieces along the fibers by hand or cut it with a knife.

Put in pita bread together with cucumber slices and lettuce leaves... Add fresh tomatoes if desired.

Baked mushrooms and tomatoes

This filling turns out to be unusually aromatic and spicy.

  • Cut small washed mushrooms (200 g) into 3 pieces lengthwise and spread on baking paper oiled with olive oil.
  • Salt, pepper, sprinkle mushrooms Provencal herbs and sprinkle with oil.
  • We send to bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 10-15 minutes, remove and let cool.
  • Tomatoes (1-2 pieces) can be used fresh, or cut into quarters and baked in the oven along with salt and spices.
  • Add fresh herbs and lettuce to the tomatoes and mushrooms.

Prepare a diet filling for pita bread according to any of these recipes or combine something of your own, it's up to you, but for now we turn to desserts!

We offer all those with a sweet tooth to cook healthy yummy food without harming the figure.

You can cook lavash yourself with any of the above recipes, or you can use the purchased thin Armenian lavash - this, of course, will save time.

So, to make a dietary strudel, let's start with apples. We will make the filling out of them.

  • Wash 3 apples well, cut out the middle and cut the pulp into small cubes.
  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan (just a little) and spread the apples. We simmer them for several minutes, stirring continuously.

If the apples are a little sour, you can add a spoonful of honey or some stevia sweetener.

  • Add a pinch of cinnamon, keep it on low heat for another minute, turn it off and leave to cool.
  • Now we spread pita bread on the table, if it is too large, remove the excess.
  • We spread the apples on it in an even layer and roll them into a roll. If you wish, you can grease it with olive oil, or you can leave it that way.
  • We put the roll on a baking sheet and send it to bake at 180 ° C for 25-30 minutes.

Wrap the finished strudel with a damp towel and let cool in it. This is done so that the pita bread in the open air does not become too tough.

As soon as the strudel has cooled, take it out and serve, slicing portioned chunks... Bon Appetit!

Preparation:
Lavash (better folded, not twisted) cut into equal plates of any size. The smaller they are, the more layers you can make.
Mix honey with a little warm water(not hot so that honey does not lose beneficial features but warm enough to dissolve). Using a pastry brush, apply honey to each lavash leaf, fold the sheets on top of each other so that they are soaked. Peel the apples and remove the seeds. Cut into thin slices (preferably with a slicer), pour over the remaining mixture of water and honey and mix gently.
Put apples on each slice of lavash so that they completely cover it, and stack the slices of lavash on top of each other. It is not necessary to make the layer of apples thick, when the pita bread is saturated with honey and apple juice, it will become very thin and soft.
Depending on preference, you can sprinkle cinnamon on each layer of apples or through one.
Dessert should stand in the refrigerator for several hours so that the pita bread becomes soft and not felt during eating. You can reheat the dessert in the oven - served both hot and cold.

A low-calorie diet requires careful adherence to the diet. Many people who want to lose a little extra pounds and gain a slim figure are trying to find a replacement for their usual foods, saturated with fats and carbohydrates. Is it possible to eat thin Armenian yeast-free pita bread with a low calorie content while losing weight and on a diet? Caucasian flatbread can be a substitute for regular bread. Such baked goods are not high in calories; they can be eaten without filling or, according to a recipe, wrapped in it products that have a low nutritional energy value.

What is pita bread

People who want to weigh less should eliminate yeast bread from their diet. Some find it difficult to give up flour and harmful, in this case, Armenian pastries will help brighten up the menu. Lavash is a thin flatbread that is used instead of bread in the countries of the Middle East and the Caucasus. The main form of a flour product of Caucasian cuisine is a leaf. Flatbread is an excellent substitute for regular bread, because it does not contain yeast.

What is pita bread made of?

Such bread is in great demand. Lavash is made from water wheat flour and salt. This product has no crumb, in color - white, cream. When baking on the tandoor (the inside of the oven), small bubbles form on the surface, which browns beautifully. Baking such a product at home is not easy, but possible. Fresh lavash from tandoor is popular not only in the Caucasus, but also in Asia, America and Europe. Filled rolls are prepared from this flour product. The most famous of them is cheese with dill.

Armenian

Armenian pastries are famous not only for their unsurpassed taste, but also for their light composition. For several centuries, the cooking technology has changed a little, but the taste and aroma have remained the same mouth-watering. The first flatbreads were made from crushed grains of wheat, and their shape closely resembled the modern product of our time. Nowadays, Caucasian baked goods consist of flour, water, sometimes salt is added. This product is recommended for weight loss.

The original Armenian lavash will be tasteless, because it should not affect the taste of the dishes with which it is served. From the previous batch, be sure to leave a small piece of dough, which is used for a new sourdough culture. The flat cake is rolled thinly, put on a special mold made of wooden material, and immersed in a tandoor. Cooking takes approximately 20-40 minutes.

Georgian

Georgian bread differs from Armenian bread not only in shape, but also in composition. The product is thick and has an oval or round shape. Yeast is among the ingredients of this pastry. In Georgia, bread is baked using special ovens called "tone". It will not be difficult to cook Georgian lavash at home in a conventional oven. Such a cake can be eaten even during fasting and during weight loss, since there is no baking among its components.

Is it possible to eat pita bread on a diet

Caucasian flatbread has become popular due to its low calorie content. There is an opinion that pita bread is not prohibited when dieting. This is true, but only if the consumer knows for sure that the product consists of traditional ingredients. Many companies involved in the production of the product add a variety of additional components (yeast, eggs, flavorings) that increase the calorie content of the product.

Is it possible to eat pita bread while losing weight? Definitely yes. You can start baking appetizing chicken or mushrooms. If the diet is associated with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, for example, gastritis, you should consult with your doctor before taking the Caucasian lozenge. To be sure of the correct composition of the product, you can bake flour product at home.

How many calories are in pita bread

Bread is a product that no food intake can do without. This flour product comes in different shapes, is prepared from various ingredients, using a variety of technologies. This pastry looks different in every country. Traditional Caucasian bread looks like bannock. Armenian bread contains 236 kcal per 100 grams, and Caucasian - 274 kcal per 100 grams. The low calorie content of pita bread is due to simple ingredients. The ratios of the BZHU product are as follows:

  • proteins - 7.9 g;
  • fat - 1.0 g;
  • carbohydrates - 47.6 g.

The analysis of BZHU indicators gives an answer to the question "Is it possible to eat lavash while losing weight?" Low fat content, pleasant taste, the ability to prepare different dishes with the product - these are the advantages of a flour product. With it you can cook salads, rolls, soups. He is often featured on festive table... The main thing when losing weight, in combination with Caucasian pastries, is to use low-calorie foods: cottage cheese, cheese, herbs, fish, chicken fillet.

The benefits and harms of pita bread

Freshly baked yeast-free flour product is good for human health. The product is nutritious and you shouldn't worry about getting better. You can easily invent the filling for the roll yourself. Thanks to the cooking technology that allows you to preserve all the nutrients, the product contains fiber, iron, zinc, magnesium, copper, vitamins of group B, E, PP.

Quite often, at the mention of a diet, in our imagination, of course, very useful, but not the most attractive and tasty dishes arise - a variety of cereals in water without sugar and oil, white meat without dressings and unsweetened weak tea. The prospect of such a diet, thanks to our imagination, is not the most joyful, and the diet begins to be perceived as a real feat, as something very unpleasant, but certainly necessary. In fact, this approach to diet is inherently wrong. Before embarking on a particular diet (currently there is a great choice - it is very easy to find what you like), you must definitely ask yourself - why do I need it? What do I want to get out of this? And if the answer is health, a beautiful figure and an attractive appearance, then you can go further.

The statement that diet meals cannot be very tasty and beautiful is fundamentally wrong. After all, a diet is not a strict limitation of oneself in a certain set of foods. This is a properly selected balanced diet, which contains a sufficient amount of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and other substances for your body. Therefore, a nutritionist will help you find the ideal diet for you. And when the direction of the diet is chosen and the possible products and options for their preparation are discussed, you can give free rein to your imagination!

There are many ways to prepare extraordinarily tasty, very attractive and at the same time low-calorie and extraordinarily healthy dietary meals. This dish may well be original dietary rolls. They will perfectly decorate both everyday and festive table, they will light snack, main course or sweet dessert. The main secret them lies in the method of preparation and ingredients.
What are diet rolls made of? Healthy, low-calorie foods are suitable for them - white meat, any vegetables, low-fat sour cream and cottage cheese, soft cheese... For sweet pastries irreplaceable dried fruits and fresh fruits and berries. Cooking such a dish is quite simple, even the most inexperienced housewife can handle it.
