First of all, I sift the flour several times so that the dough becomes airy afterwards. I add salt to the sifted, snow-white flour to make the dough tastier.




I pour in water in parts




and begin to knead the dough without lumps.




Then I add the remaining flour, but also in portions, spoons, and gradually.






I shape, roll the dough into a single ball and make sure that it no longer sticks to my hands. If the dough is elastic, tight, then there is enough flour and there is no need to add any more.




I will leave the dough to rest for 15 minutes. Then I cut it with a knife into even small pieces, so that each of them can be rolled into a round shape for a flat cake.




I roll out one piece of dough thinly so that the surface of the wooden board on which I am rolling is practically visible. But the dough shouldn't break. I catch the moment when I need to stop rolling with a rolling pin, and cut out a cake with a round plate.




I put it on a hot dry frying pan and bake on each side for 15-20 seconds.






I put the hot baked flat cakes on a separate plate. The cakes will rise, swell and stand up during the drying process. This is normal. The beauty! Common foods without yeast make fluffy cakes. This is a miracle!

We prepare products. We heat milk to a temperature of 30 degrees. Warm milk will improve the yeast function and help the dough come up and grow. It is better to take dry yeast, since ordinary yeast are suitable for making dough and require more time to cook. All other products must be room temperature... Pour the warmed milk into a deep container.

Add sugar, salt and gradually stir until it dissolves. Sugar helps the yeast work and activates the fermentation process. But you don't need to add a lot of it, since sugar will simply prevent the dough from rising and make it heavy.

Pour dry yeast into the milk-sugar mixture, add vegetable sunflower oil and chicken eggs... Many hostesses are afraid to use dry yeast and prefer live yeast to them. Dry yeast is very unpretentious both in use and storage. They can even be added along with the flour without being dissolved in the liquid.

Now pour the flour and, stirring constantly with a fork, let the dough grab. Then we begin to knead with our hands for 10 minutes. Ready dough should be soft, light, not sticking to your hands. To make it easier to mix, its surface can be slightly greased with vegetable oil.

Cover the container containing the dough with a paper towel and leave in a warm place for half an hour. During this time, it will increase in volume. After 30 minutes, grease the dough with butter, sprinkle with a little flour and knead again from the edge to the center. Again, we leave the approach. It is important that at this time there are no drafts and open windows and doors in the room. The cold air will keep the dough from rising.

An hour later, the dough for fluffy cakes will double in volume and will be ready to create the most varied and delicious flour products.

When the dough has rested, take it out and transfer it from the bowl to a chopping board lightly sprinkled with flour. Using a knife, we cut the ball into four parts.

Next, in turn, with clean hands, we form a ball from each piece of dough, put it on the kitchen table, crush with a small amount of flour, and use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin cake about 0.2 centimeters. Attention: the diameter of the circle should be approximately the same as that of the pan. I have 26 centimeters.

Now we put the pan on high heat and let it heat up. Immediately after that, put the cakes here in turn and fry on both sides 30-40 seconds each. Important: pay attention to the color of the dough - it should brown and be covered with golden bubbles. Put the finished cakes with a wooden spatula on top of each other on a large flat plate and we can invite everyone to the dinner table.

Step 4: serve unleavened cakes in a frying pan.


We serve even warm cakes to the dinner table along with various dishes. For example, they are good for dinner instead of bread.

Also, you can wrap shredded vegetables, fried meat in such cakes, season with any sauce you like and treat friends and relatives with a sort of shawarma. It turns out very tasty and satisfying!
