  7. Whisk a couple of eggs and brush over the croissants using a cooking brush. This will give your baked goods a shine.

400 g puff pastry with yeast added; 20 g butter; 1/3 cup granulated sugar; ¼ glasses of powdered sugar; half a teaspoon of vanilla extract; 200 g cream cheese; 450 g apples; 1 yolk; teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

To make the icing that covers the baked goods, you will need: half a glass of powdered sugar; 3 teaspoons of milk.

  1. To defrost puff pastry, leave it at room temperature for an hour and a half.
  2. Cut the prepared apples (they must be peeled) into small cubes.
  3. In a deep skillet, dissolve the butter and place the apples on top of it.
  4. Add cinnamon sugar and simmer until tender.
  5. Pour a spoonful of water into the filling, wait 2-3 minutes and remove the pan from heat.
  6. In a large bowl, put cream cheese, add the yolk, vanilla extract and icing sugar... Beat with a mixer.
  7. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and use a large plate to cut a circle with a sharp knife.
  8. Transfer the cake base to the parchment and make a saucer print in the center, pressing down lightly with your hand.
  9. Draw a smaller circle of 8 diameters and make cuts with a knife.
  10. Put the cheese mass on the dough (except for the central part), not reaching the edges a couple of centimeters.
  11. Top with the apple filling.
  12. Bend the cuts made in the dough up and cover the filling so that a ring forms.
  13. Whisk the yolk with water and brush over the cake.
  14. Pastries are prepared in an oven preheated to 180 gr. within half an hour.
  15. Cool the finished cake and cover with warm icing.

  8. Place the roll slices on a greased baking sheet.
  9. Future pastries are sprinkled with grated cheese and baked for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 220 grams.
