Real Halloween 2019 - only at Shishas Bar!

Halloween was “born” in Ireland and Scotland and was celebrated on the eve of All Saints' Day, that is, with sunset on October 31st. The idea of dressing up for Halloween in the costumes of evil spirits is connected with the fact that evil spirits take people "for their own" and do not bring troubles to the house. Halloween is celebrated in many countries, although it is called differently:

  • October 31 - Halloween in the United States;
  • October 30 - November 8 - All Souls Week in Austria;
  • November 1-2 - Day of the Dead in Mexico;
  • November 5 - Guy Fawkes Night in England.

When is Halloween in Russia in 2019? Is it possible to meet him here at all? He “moved” to Russia in the 1990s from the United States, when he had already become a fancy-dress carnival without religious connotations and acquired the fascinating custom of collecting sweets from neighbors with the words “Trick or Treat”! Russia celebrates Halloween like America does on October 31st.

Year after year, the popularity of this Western holiday is growing, and many places have appeared in Moscow where you can have fun celebrating Halloween.

Halloween outfit ideas

The rule "the worse the better" has long lost its relevance, and a stylish look has become an attribute of every Halloween party.

Halloween ideas for girls

Women's Suit Ideas

Mexican costumes for Day of the Dead can inspire the most extravagant look. A vintage dress and an umbrella with fine lace are his must-haves.

Recreate the post-apocalyptic look with worn rock and roll biker jackets, lace-ups and metal accessories.

Dresses with references to evil spirits are traditional for celebrating Halloween. In the right outfit, even witches, ghosts, and vampires look damn attractive.

Halloween makeup and manicure ideas

Makeup with the outlines of a human skull will look elegant and authentic: contour the cheekbones, add asymmetry or highlight individual elements with a brighter color.

At the Halloween party, you can play a hooligan and find yourself in a new "rebellious" role: with smoky eyes makeup, piercings and colored lenses.

The red gradient will look beautiful - as if nails were dipped in blood!

Ideas for guys

Ideas for mens costume and makeup

Not every guy dares to spend hours in the mall looking for his perfect Halloween costume. Make-up will save the situation! The facial features, beautifully accentuated by Dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead in Mexico) makeup, will make the guy the star of the evening.

In movies, have you always empathized with the villainous characters? Choose for the holiday the image of a sad clown - Joker or Pennywise, as in the photo.

Do you want to add brutality? Collect a post-apocalyptic or steam-punk look: heavy boots, chains and a jacket on a naked body. All things can be bought inexpensively at sales or on services like Youla or Avito.

Halloween ideas for kids

Baby Costume Ideas

Adults may be skeptical about celebrating Halloween, but not kids! The child is enthusiastically waiting for him, so take a responsible approach to the choice of a suit, but rather make it together.

It is not difficult to make a black cat costume for a girl with your own hands. Cut the black tulle into 20cm strips and tie with an elastic band around the waist. A gymnastic leotard will fit the pack, and make the ears out of felt and glue to the rim.

Your son will love making a Zombie costume: stain old clothes with red paint and roll in the sand. Mom won't swear!

Makeup ideas for kids

Whatever look you choose for your child, complete it with a good make-up. If face painting is not enough, go to the joke and gift store for false headbands and scars, and there are rhinestones and beads in handicraft stores.

Where to celebrate Halloween in Moscow

Want to party with your friends but haven't found a secluded place to party? Stylish space on Red October will solve your problem.

Original places and ideas for a Halloween photo shoot

The most progressive couples not only celebrate the Western holiday, but also arrange a whole photo session about this. Bonnie and Clyde, Sid and Nancy - if your couple is like these, then you will love the photos taken in a black loft with a cage.

The panoramic windows of this site will add natural light, and the unique interior seems to have been created for a successful shot.

Halloween in the style of the Middle Ages can be spent in the old library on Varshavskoe shosse. This site is shrouded in an aura of secrets and mysteries. High neon-lit ceilings, large crystal chandeliers, stained glass windows, wooden benches, staircases and book shelves create a magical atmosphere to suit the Halloween mood.

We are sure that you can take a lot of cool photos in the interior of this loft. Halloween photo ideas are only limited by your imagination.

1. A unique photo session can be arranged in nature or in a nearby park. Autumn brown-orange leaves will be the best natural scenery, and you can complement the composition of the frame with pre-prepared branches of elderberry, red rowan, and bunches of straw. Act out a mysterious ritual in the frame, but don't get the attention of the police!

2. The most valuable shots, as a rule, are those made without preparation and posing. Let while the children and dad make crafts with their own hands and decorate the house for the holiday, mom is filming this creative process.

How to celebrate Halloween

If for any reason you had to stay at home or in the office on this “spooky” holiday, we have picked up simple ideas for you on how to have a party even in an everyday setting.

How to celebrate Halloween at home with your kids

If you live in a cottage community, there is a great idea how to celebrate Halloween at home with your kids. Dress up your children in scary costumes and send, according to the old American tradition, to earn sweets from the neighbors with the saying "Trick or treat!" or "Sweet or nasty"! Stock up on sweets yourself and hand them out to everyone who knocks on your doors.

Make an attraction "Get an apple" from the available tools: put a few apples in a bowl of water and ask the children to take them out with their mouths.

How to celebrate Halloween in the office with coworkers

1. In the office you can play the "Secret Murder" quest. Prepare in advance the plot and cards with the characteristics of the characters: their alibis, secrets, connections. The evening will pass in search of evidence and the "killer" will be revealed!

2. Organize a competition for Best Costume, Best Performance, Best Raffle, Best Bringing Treat, and prepare commemorative prizes for the winners.

Halloween decor ideas

Pumpkin decoration

Carving is the art of carving vegetables and fruits. If you are still new to it, then below you will find simple ideas for decorating pumpkins.

1. To make "Jack's Lantern" select a pumpkin of a symmetrical shape, remove the seeds and pulp with a spoon, and cut out the triangular eyes, nose and angry grin with a kitchen knife. Wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol to prevent the skin from becoming moldy. Place a candle or electric garland inside. Ready!

2. For those who are afraid of cutting themselves or preparing a holiday pumpkin with their children, it is better not to do carving. Dress up the pumpkin in a "costume" of a mummy: wrap the vegetable with bandages, and glue felt or plastic eyes on top.

3. Don't want to spoil the food? Decorate your home with a papier-mâché pumpkin: cover the balloon with several layers of paper, let it dry, pierce it with a needle and remove it from the decoration. You can apply absolutely any drawing to such a pumpkin and turn the creative process into a game.

DIY Halloween decorations

1. Get the broom and the old camping cauldron - now these are the witch's accessories. A "witch's table" will also appear in the house, if striped knee-highs are pulled on its legs and put on boots.

2. Does your daughter have old dolls that you can't bring to the landfill? Make an aquarium with doll heads out of them as an element of decor, after applying Halloween makeup to the dolls with a permanent marker. For greater effect, you can dissolve the red dye in water.

3. Buy Styrofoam sheets from hardware stores. Use a utility knife to shape them into tombstones and paint. Handicraft gravestones will look more realistic if you write on top of who they belong to, dates of death and epitaphs.

4. Nobody canceled the festive decoration with balloons and traditional garlands with bats and spiders cut out of black cardboard !.

5. If Halloween is planned at the dacha, then take care of decorating the garden area: you can buy plastic bones in a joke and gift store and stick them in a garden wheelbarrow with the ground.

Invitations and gifts

An invitation card to a celebration can be bought in almost every stationery or bookstore, and there will be many themed ones on Halloween eve. However, it is doubly pleasant to receive an invitation into which a person “put his heart and soul” and did it with his own hands:

  • Button invitation from the cartoon "Coraline in the Land of Nightmares". Use buttons from your mother's box as a decor. It will be possible to glue them even on ordinary "Moment" glue.
  • A bloody invitation. Print out the text on thick cardboard and sprinkle red paint over it as if it were sent from the crime scene.
  • Vintage letter style invitation. If the paper is soaked with tea bags and allowed to dry, the letter will look like it was sent 100 years ago.

Halloween is just taking root in Russia, and many have no idea what gifts to give on Halloween. Why not focus on cute symbolic presentations? We have already talked about the tradition of giving away sweets to children. Here are some more interesting ideas:

  • Jar of gummy worms;
  • All Saints Day T-shirts;
  • Plasma ball or small Tesla coil;
  • Fortune cookies;
  • Soft pumpkin toys and skeleton key rings;
  • Themed dishes and skull-shaped glasses;

Halloween Treat Ideas

The buffet table and food are the same home decoration as garlands and pumpkins. However, it is not the complexity of the dishes that is important, but the creative approach. See how interesting you can make your own treats.

Sausages in puff pastry

This dish was prepared by many mothers and grandmothers in childhood. Attach the peppery pupils to the mozzarella slices and the treat is done!

Toast mummies

Another variation on the theme of mummies is the original design of hot sandwiches with strips of cheese instead of bandages and olive eyes.

Spider eggs

Cut olives into slices exactly like spider legs and place on boiled eggs.

Zombie peppers

Delicious vegetable salad can be refined with an original serving. Remove the caps from the peppers, remove the seeds, cut through the eyes and ominous grin.

Mandarin pumpkin

What child will come to the party if there is no sweet table? Paint the faces of the monsters with chocolate paste on the banana slices, and the peeled tangerines easily transform into pumpkins - you just need to add a celery stalk.

Apples in juice

Peel the apples, give them the shape of a skull and pour over with cherry juice.

Biting donuts

You can make donuts for Halloween either yourself or buy them in chain stores, decorating them with all kinds of sprinkles and mastic figures.

Ginger cookie

Contrary to popular misconception, gingerbread and cookies are not only Christmas food. It's all about the drawing: cover the surface with glaze and apply the outlines of pumpkins, spider webs and ghosts from a pastry bag.

Be inspired by the most daring decisions and give a good mood to colleagues, friends and family with the site! A positive and vibrant holiday, Halloween is well worth celebrating.

They have to find out what is going on in the head of a mentally ill person and help him overcome his fears. The quest "Deal with the Devil" is intended for a team of three or four people who, during the game, will have to sign a contract with the dark forces in order to save the soul of Laura, who made a deal with the devil.

The musical "Ghost" at the MDM Theater

At the same time mystical and romantic musical "Ghost" is based on the film of the same name in 1990, which won two Oscars. The play has been a success at the MDM theater for a month now: the slightly frightening love story of Sam and Molly (originally played by Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore), who even death could overcome, captivates the audience not only with the acting, but also with their technological effectiveness. So, the scene, New York, was recreated on stage using a huge LED screen. The main roles in the production were played by Pavel Levkin, already familiar to the viewer from the musicals "Beauty and the Beast" and "Cinderella", and the finalist of the "New Wave-2016" competition Galya Bezruk.

Halloween of the 90s at Izvestia Hall

Fans of music from the end of the last century are expected on October 28 at 23:55 in the Izvestia Hall club. DJs of Retro Sound System promise that the hits of the groups "Kraski", Hi-Fi, Prodigy, Spice Girls, "Inveterate Fraudsters", "Shiny", "Disco Crash" and other stars of that time will be playing all night long. However, do not forget that this is not an ordinary disco of the 90s, but a Halloween celebration, so a scary costume is a must.

Party "Wake, sir" at the design plant "Flacon"

Photo Shot from the movie "The Great Gatsby"

At the Flacon, the theme of the Halloween party will be the era of jazz and gangsters - « roaring 20s » ... The holiday is scheduled for November 3 and its program includes a screening of silent horror films, a vintage marker and stylized photo zones. The dress code is the Great Gatsby style.
