To please the family, I decided to bake open cherry pie... No sooner said than done! And everything would be fine, but only at the moment when it was necessary to knead the dough for the base, it turned out that only whole grain flour remained at home! There was no time to go to the store, so I acted at my own peril and risk ... To my great surprise, the cake in the final turned out to be very appetizing, with a very interesting taste and was literally swept off the table to loud applause of the picky judges - my daughter and her girlfriends ! In my opinion, it is better to make it thinner, so I decided to make small changes and reduce by half the amount of starting products for making the dough.

Method for preparing cherry pie in a slow cooker

Are you ready to experiment? I'll start with the test. I will need flour, sugar, sour cream, butter, and baking powder.


Grind soft butter with sugar.


Then I add sour cream and mix thoroughly with a whisk.


Gradually pour flour, baking powder into the resulting mass and begin to knead the dough.


In consistency, it should be homogeneous, resembling plasticine.

I form a ball from the dough and send it to the refrigerator for 20 minutes. In the meantime, I'm working on cherries. The fruit and berry season is in full swing now, so I use fresh berries. Beforehand, I sort them out, wash them and remove the bones. I put it on a sieve so that the resulting juice stack. Immediately I fill in, - whisk sour cream, sugar, egg and starch with a whisk.


Back to the test. Before putting it in the bowl, I cover it with foil so that later I can easily remove the cake from the multicooker. I distribute the dough evenly along the bottom of the bowl, making sure to make the sides about 2-3 cm high.

I spread cherries on the dough


and fill it with sour cream.


I bake the cake for 1 hour in the "oven" mode at a temperature of 150 degrees.


I give the finished cake the opportunity to cool slightly in the bowl so that the top layer "grabs", and then I take it out and wait for it to cool completely.


Only then do I serve the pie to the table.

It is much easier to find rye bread on the shelves than bread made from whole grain flour, and therefore I bought the latter and decided to conduct an experiment by preparing my own homemade bread, and besides, in a slow cooker. It turned out nothing complicated. All you need is attentiveness and faith in luck :)

So, for making whole grain bread in a multicooker, I decided to take the following ingredients: whole grain wheat flour and premium wheat flour, water and milk, salt and sugar, and yeast. For a variety of tastes, I added sunflower kernels to the dough, by the way, you can take other seeds (sesame, pumpkin, flax) or nuts. In order to emphasize the taste of the bread, I added honey to the dough, and instead of the usual sunflower oil I used linseed oil (as an option, you can take olive oil or any other vegetable oil). My experiment was a success: the bread exceeded all expectations! It may be high in calories, but it's really worth it!

Combine the following ingredients in a convenient bowl: whole grain flour, a portion of sifted wheat flour (about 2/3), salt, sugar, yeast, and sunflower kernels.

Stir until smooth.

Combine milk with water, dissolve honey in liquid. It is better to use liquid in this case.

In the center of the flour mixture, we make a so-called well and pour in the liquid.

We begin to knead the bread dough with a spoon.

We stir until the liquid and dry masses are combined.

Next, pour in vegetable oil. Mix again.

Sift the remaining flour and switch to manual kneading (5-10 minutes).

We form a ball out of the dough, put it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, sprinkle with flour, cover with a towel and leave to come up in a warm place for 1 hour.

After 60 minutes, the dough has risen perfectly.

We spread the dough on the table, sprinkled with flour, and knead it properly, again form a ball.

We transfer to the oiled multicooker bowl, set the “Heating” mode for 20 minutes.

During this time, the dough will rise and be ready to cook.

We set the "Baking" mode for 30 minutes. Then, using a steam stand, carefully take out the half-finished bread and turn it over to another barrel. Bake on the other side for another 30 minutes.

Let the finished bread cool in a slow cooker with the lid open for 10 minutes, after which we remove the product from the bowl and cool it under a towel.
