This requires a minimum of products that are likely to be found in any home. The pie is delicious.

Preparation:

Remember the main secret of cooking classic manna: Liquid foods should be added to dry foods, not the other way around. It is clear that the first thing in a bowl is to mix dry ingredients: flour, semolina, granulated sugar and soda.

Add eggs with kefir to this mixture. Many housewives first combine kefir with eggs and whisk it with a whisk, and only then add it to flour and semolina. But this is completely optional.

Mix everything well with a spoon. The dough should have a homogeneous, viscous consistency, in which there are no lumps.

Lubricate a metal baking dish vegetable oil... It needs to be smeared wherever it comes into contact with the dough. If you have Silicone molds, then you do not need to oil it. Pour the mixture and distribute it evenly over the mold.

Put the cherries on top of the dough. When the pie starts to rise, the cherry will be in the middle and only show up after you cut the manna into slices.

We send the form with its contents to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, and leave it there for 30 - 40 minutes. It is supposed to bake the manna until golden brown.

Do not remove the manna from the mold until it cools down. It is very easy to break it when hot.

Ready pie can be sprinkled on top icing sugar, decorate with fondant, condensed milk or jam. You can serve manna with tea and coffee, and on hot summer days - with cold milk. Bon Appetit!

Today I suggest you try a delicious semolina pie for dessert - this is a manna. Delicate, crumbly, with a light vanilla aroma and a crispy crust. It is prepared in an elementary way, from all available and very inexpensive ingredients. This recipe is classic and uses only basic ingredients. It is not worth changing their proportions, since the recipe has been proven over the years and you can only ruin everything. But with additional ingredients, you can experiment however you want. For example, you can add dried fruits, raisins and nuts, or you can make a chocolate manna with cocoa. What I also like about this recipe is that manna can be given to young children (from 2 years old). I will not say that the product turns out to be very dietary, but it also contains nothing harmful. If you are preparing a manna for children, then you can remove the baking powder for the dough from the ingredients and halve the amount of oil - these products are not very useful. The mannik will turn out, of course, not so lush, but for the kids - what they need. And you can serve a simple classic manna with jam or fresh berries and fruits.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. kefir;
  • 2 tbsp. decoys;
  • 1 tbsp. Sahara;
  • 150 g butter at room temperature;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 3 tsp baking powder for dough;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • 2 small pinches of vanilla.

The recipe for the classic manna on kefir

1. Pour kefir into a bowl for dough and add semolina. It's better to use 1.5 cups for a start. From my own experience, I noticed that semolina somehow swells in different ways. For a glass of cereals from one manufacturer you need 1 glass of kefir, and from another you may need 1.5-2 glasses of kefir. Of course, the thickness of the kefir itself also plays a role here. We mix.

2. Leave for 5-10 minutes while we deal with other ingredients. The semolina should absorb some of the liquid and our "porridge" will thicken. On step by step photo mass as it should be: it is not liquid, but also not dry. If the porridge has thickened, but it mixes easily - that's it, proceed to the next step. If the mass turned out to be very thick, dry and dense, add a little more kefir.

3. Transfer the butter to another bowl and grind it with sugar using a fork. It is very important that the oil is room temperature, so it is much easier to work with it.

I also want to say a little about butter. It is better to take a not very fatty oil, somewhere around 72%, so that the manna does not turn out to be too fatty. And yet - do not be afraid if during the baking process you see a thin layer of oil "boiling" from above. It will boil away, and an appetizing and slightly crispy golden crust will remain on top of the manna.

4. Break eggs into a bowl with butter and sugar. Pour in 3 tsp. baking powder for the dough, add 2 small pinches of vanillin.

5. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork.

6. Pour the egg-oil mixture to the semolina with kefir.

7. Stir with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Please note: the mass should turn out to be watery, in consistency it resembles biscuit dough.

8. Lightly grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. I use a detachable dish with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 6.5 cm. It fits just perfectly for the given amount of ingredients.

9. Pour the dough into a mold and send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the height of the mold). Mannik rises quite a bit. Therefore, one should not be particularly afraid that he will run away from the form.

10. We take the finished manna out of the oven, let it cool slightly, then remove it from the mold. Despite its delicate structure, manna jumps out of shape remarkably.
