Preparation:
These cookies can be made from leftovers yeast dough, in this case it will need about 800 g. But you can make the dough on purpose. Make the dough in a safe way: in the evening, pour cold water and loose yeast into a deep bowl, add white butter, egg, salt and knead the dough, adding sifted flour. Ingredients:

2 tbsp. l. sugar (if you want the filling to be sweeter, add more sugar)

1 tbsp. l. butter

1 tbsp. l. water

1 tbsp. l. lemon juice.

How to make apple biscuits

Combine sugar and butter, then add eggs, water and lemon zest. Mix the remaining bulk ingredients in a separate bowl and combine with the butter and egg mixture. Knead the dough, wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 hours.

While the dough is waiting in the fridge, prepare the filling. To do this, peel the apples and entrails, grate them on a coarse grater. Place the apples and the rest of the filling ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until all the liquid has evaporated. You will like the filling if you remember to stir it constantly.

Roll out the finished dough into a 2 mm thick circle. If the dough sticks a lot from the surface, dust the table with flour.

If you can't get a round shape, then you can align the karya like this: put a plate on the dough and circle it around the contour with a knife, remove the trimmings and the plate. Thus, you get an even circle.
