I used to often cook cauliflower in an egg by frying it in a skillet. And recently, while “Summer Skovoroda” was being baked with young potatoes, zucchini and cauliflower, all this under chicken breasts in sour cream, I got the idea to bake the leftover cauliflower in the oven! It turned out soooo delicious - with a minimal set of products and simplicity of the recipe - which I decided to purposefully repeat. This cabbage is much more dietary than fried cabbage; she is so gentle and good in herself. Although you can complicate and vary the recipe by adding other vegetables - courgette or Bell pepper, for example; can you cheese or chicken breast... But also just baked cauliflower in sour cream - great dish!


And in the same way, you can cook broccoli cabbage - an emerald and also a very healthy and tasty subspecies of colored.


Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cauliflower inflorescence;
  • 1 egg;
  • 150 ml sour cream;
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 tablespoon of sunflower oil.

Instructions:

Rinse the inflorescence and disassemble it into pieces. Boil salted water in a saucepan and dip the inflorescences in boiling water, let them boil under the lid for 5 minutes. Boil cauliflower like broccoli or asparagus beans, you need the vegetables to be soft.


Then we put the cabbage in a colander so that the glass water and the inflorescences cool slightly.


Meanwhile, grease the baking dish sunflower oil, and beat the egg in a separate plate. Add a little salt, you can pepper a little.


We dump the cabbage into the egg and mix - carefully so as not to break the inflorescences, but carefully so that you dip them in the egg on all sides.

Put the cabbage in a mold and pour sour cream on top with a spoon.


We bake the cauliflower in the oven at 180C, about 20-30 minutes - until the inflorescences become soft and a little browned. It is very important to choose good cabbage, for this, always pay attention to its sheets and structure. The leaves should be green, and the vegetable itself should be dense, the inflorescences should not decay easily.

  1. After the cabbage is selected, it must be cut into separate parts, washed well and boiled so that it becomes softer. To do this, it is enough to fill it with water, wait for a boil and cook for about 10 minutes. Take it out and let it dry a little.

  • a little more than 100 grams of cheese;

  1. First, let's prepare the vegetables. To do this, chop the onion, three carrots and bring all this to a beautiful golden color in a hot pan.
  2. At this time, you need to rinse the cabbage, divide it into parts and soften it by cooking. We put the inflorescences in a pot of water, wait until the water boils, cook for about 10 minutes and take out ready-made cabbage to cool down a little. Do not forget to lightly salt.

Step 1: prepare and infuse the cauliflower.

First of all, pour a couple of liters of running water into a deep bowl. room temperature, pour in a tablespoon of rock salt without iodine and mix them until smooth. We spread it on a cutting board, use a sharp kitchen knife to disassemble it into inflorescences and after a while omitting their into violently boiling water.

Cook the vegetable for 12-15 minutes, it is not necessary longer, it will still go through an additional heat treatment... Therefore, when the cabbage acquires medium softness, we throw it into a large colander and leave it in it until use to drain excess moisture.

Step 3: prepare the egg mixture.

While it cools down, prepare the fill. Pouring based on egg and mayonnaise is universal. It works well for all kinds of casseroles and snack pies. For example, it can be used for cooking. Beat the egg with a fork. Add mayonnaise.

Stir. If you are preparing such a cabbage for children, then it is advisable to replace mayonnaise with sour cream, cream or natural yogurt.
