Ingredients

To prepare chicken liver stewed with zucchini, we need:

onion - 1 pc .;

vegetable or olive oil for frying;

carrots - 1 pc.;

medium-sized zucchini - 1 pc.;

chicken liver - 500 g;

salt, pepper - to taste.

Cooking steps

Prepare food.

Cut the peeled onion into thin half rings.

In a frying pan with high sides, fry the onion on vegetable oil, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.

Wash the zucchini (young zucchini need not be peeled and seeds), cut into thin half rings. Add the zucchini to the pan with the carrots and onions and fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Rinse the chicken liver under running water, remove the films and vessels, cut into medium-sized pieces (no need to cut finely).

Place the chicken liver with the fried courgettes, carrots and onions.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, stir and simmer the liver with vegetables, covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Check the liver for readiness - when piercing with a fork, clear juice should be released without impurities of blood.

Hello my dears! Today we have a recipe for an original curd casserole at the Culinary Academy of Clever Hostesses. How is it original, you ask? And what is usual, and this ... tadamm is salty😲. Despite the unusual combination, it turns out juicy, tender, tasty. Although why is it unusual 🤔 ? We are eating curd cheeses with unsweetened fillers - with the same dill, pickled cucumbers, mushrooms - and nothing, we are not indignant😆. So I recommend trying unsweetened curd casserole as a light, nutritious breakfast or dinner.

Zucchini is a vegetable, as if specially created for cooking casseroles. By whatever recipe they are not baked, it will still turn out delicious. Zucchini casserole with chicken liver - quite light, but at the same time nutritious dish that can replace a whole meal.

It is prepared almost according to the same principle as the "textbook" casserole from zucchini with minced meat... The only difference is that instead of minced meat, chicken liver is put - a product that is more democratic in price and more respected by nutritionists. First, the chicken liver must be boiled or fried in vegetable oil with the addition of spices. And then, when it has cooled down, you can use it as an ingredient for a casserole.


How to cook a zucchini casserole with chicken liver - a step by step recipe with a photo

Products:

Cooking. Purified onion cut into thin half rings. You can cut it into smaller pieces - this is already a matter of your taste.

Washed tomatoes are also cut into large enough pieces. You do not need to peel the fruit.

Zucchini is peeled and grated on a coarse grater. They can be salted at the same stage: if they release too much liquid, then it is better to squeeze it out. raw zucchini is introduced egg and mix - it plays the role of "fixer" in the casserole.

The grater will also have to be reduced with cheese: it will be used to sprinkle the surface of the casserole, and this - The best way grinding it.

And the pre-fried chicken liver is cut into small pieces - it can be in the form of cubes.

The bottom of the form or round frying pan without a handle, in which the dish will be prepared, is greased with butter or margarine, and zucchini are placed on top in an even layer.

Since we are preparing a casserole, it is quite logical to send it to bake, namely, to place it in an oven preheated to 190-200 degrees. The process will take 40 to 60 minutes. It all depends on how thick your layers of vegetables and liver are, as well as on the characteristics of the oven. Readiness is determined by cheese crust: if it is baked until golden or even light brown, it is time to take out the dish. Before serving squash casserole it is recommended to let it cool: let it fall on the plates warm, but in no case hot, otherwise it will fall apart. Try to supplement it with sour cream or creamy sauce- it will be delicious.
