  • Baking powder - 1.5 tsp

For the layer:

  • Butter - 60 gr.
  • Powdered sugar - 340 gr.
  • Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • Milk - 2 tablespoons

Cooking method

V separate container mix dry ingredients with a whisk (except ground sugar).

We take out the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes very soft. We put it in the mixer bowl, add ground sugar here.

Butter room temperature beat with a mixer along with powdered sugar. Beat until the butter turns white and fluffy. Add egg (room temperature) and vanilla extract. Beat again.

Transfer the resulting creamy mass to a container with a dry mixture and knead the dough using a spatula.

At this point, a drop of black dye can be added if desired.

Adjust the amount of flour during the kneading process. You may need a little more or a little less flour. The dough should turn out to be plastic, but at the same time quite fragile. Using a mixer, begin to beat the butter. After a minute, add the vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar. Without stopping the work of the mixer, we introduce half of the ground sugar in portions. Add milk, and after a few seconds continue to pour in the remaining powder.

As a result, the cream should be thick enough so that the circles can stick together tightly and nothing is squeezed out on the sides.

Transfer the finished filling into a pastry bag and send to the refrigerator.

We turn on the oven, set the temperature to 180 degrees.

Lightly dust the work surface with flour. We roll out a thin layer. Approximate thickness approx. 3 mm.

Using a round mold, or an ordinary glass, we cut out the blanks and carefully transfer them to a baking sheet covered with parchment, helping ourselves with a spatula.

Preparation

For our recipe, we took butter out of the refrigerator in advance. It should be soft enough by the time it is cooked. We preferred cocoa powder without fillers.
Put soft butter (110 g) in a large bowl and add powdered sugar (110 g) to it. At medium speed of the mixer, we interrupt these two ingredients into a homogeneous mass.


Beat in a large egg and continue beating everything together.


Sift flour into a separate bowl, add baking powder and cocoa. Mix everything with a pastry spatula.
