Ingredients:

  • 500 gr. puff yeast dough
  • 0.5 kg fresh cabbage
  • 150 g fresh champignons
  • onion
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • a pinch of ground black pepper
  • 2-3 st. l. vegetable oil

Cooking method:

1. Chop the cabbage into strips and rub lightly with your hands.

2. Onion peel and chop into cubes.

3. Wash, dry and peel the champignons. Cut the mushrooms into thin plastics.

4. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and put on medium heat.

5. Fry the onion in oil, after three minutes put the mushrooms and simmer for another 3-4 minutes while stirring.

6. Transfer the cabbage to the pan and stir with the onion-mushroom fry. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer the cabbage for about 10-15 minutes under the lid, stirring occasionally so as not to burn. Ready cabbage cool.

7. Defrost the dough and divide into two layers.

8. Lightly roll one layer and transfer to a baking sheet covered with parchment, spread the cabbage filling over it.

9. Roll out the second layer of dough and cover the first layer with the filling. Fasten the edges of the dough by pressing with a fork, make several cuts along the top of the cake. You can leave some dough and cut out the cake decorations.

10. Beat the egg and brush the cake 2-3 times.

Pie with fresh cabbage, mushrooms and egg

For this recipe we need products:

For the test: for 350 g flour - an incomplete glass of clean, warm water, 20 g dry yeast (very high quality), 1 a raw egg, 300 g of butter or quality margarine, a little vegetable oil, 30 g of sugar, 2 pinches of salt.

For the filling: cabbage forks, a pound of fresh mushrooms, 1 or 2 boiled eggs (at your discretion), 1 onion, vegetable oil, salt and ground pepper.

First, let's prepare the filling:

Wash the head of cabbage, remove the top coarse leaves. Dry the remaining cabbage with a towel, chop into thin strips. Salt, remember lightly with your hands, so that it is juicier.

Chop the onion finely, cut the mushrooms into quarters or plates (if the mushrooms are small).

Preheat a deep skillet with 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Fry the cabbage until lightly browned. This will take about 7 minutes. Add the onions, continue cooking over medium heat, until half cooked, stirring frequently (so as not to burn). Now add the mushrooms, fry everything together. Reduce heat, simmer, stirring until tender.

Remove from heat, transfer the cabbage to a deep bowl, and wait until it cools. Add the egg to the cooled filling. If the filling is dry, add a little vegetable or warmed butter.

While the filling is cooling down put the dough:

Mix yeast with flour. Pour flour with yeast into a bowl, add salt, add sugar. Add water a little and knead the dough. When it thickens a little, beat in an egg. Continue kneading. At the very end, add part of the softened butter (100 g), knead well so that the dough completely absorbs the butter.

Roll up a bun, cover with a clean towel. Move to a warm place to rise. You can use an oven heated to 50C for this. When the dough comes up (approximately doubles), roll out into a square, about 15 mm thick. Place half the butter in the center.

Roll the dough into an envelope with butter inside, roll it back into a square. Place the remaining butter in the center, cover with the ends of the dough and roll out again. Cover the middle again with the edges of the square, sprinkle with flour and roll it out in a thin layer - about 3 mm. Fold the layer in four again and roll it thinly one last time.

Now you can "collect" the pie:

Grease a baking sheet or line with baking paper. Divide the rolled dough into two parts, and one should be slightly larger than the second, by about 1 cm. Put it on a baking sheet, bending the edges along the side. To make it more convenient to transfer the layer to a baking sheet, lightly wrap it on a rolling pin, then it will definitely not break.

Spread the filling evenly, cover with the second part of the layer. Close the edges nicely and tightly. Leave it on the table for another half hour. During this time, the oven should warm up to 180C.

Now pierce the top layer with a fork in several places so that when baking, there is a place for steam to go out. Brush the surface with a beaten egg for a nice gloss. Place in the oven for 40 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a dry match. Poke it gently from the side. If you take out a match without any remaining dough, the pie is ready.

Homemade pie with sauerkraut, egg and salted mushrooms

Spread the filling evenly. Cover with a second layer, pinch the edges tightly. Leave it on for half an hour. Pierce the surface with a fork in several places, brush with a beaten egg. Bake in an oven already preheated to 180C, 40 - 50 minutes (the time depends on the power of your oven).

Ingredients:

  • puff pastry - 500 g;
  • minced meat - 200 g;
  • cabbage - 200 g;
  • carrots - 1 pc.;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • cheese - 60 g;
  • milk - 1 tbsp.;
  • egg - 2 pcs.;
  • spices;
  • cumin - to taste;
  • vegetable oil;
  • semolina.

Preparation

Finely chop the cabbage, peel the onion, cut into half rings, and peel and grate the carrots. Then, in vegetable oil, pass the onion with carrots, and then lay out the minced meat and fry until tender. After that, put the cabbage, mix, cover and simmer until soft, seasoning with spices to taste. Remove the finished filling from heat and cool.
