The use of a refrigerator is permitted. Send the prepared nuts to the blender bowl. The container should be no more than half full. Set the power to medium.
  8. Turn on the household appliance for literally 20 seconds. Tap the container to make the powder fall off. Repeat the procedure for 30 seconds. Tap the bowl again. The flour is ready, it can be used for its intended purpose. To get exactly the powder, it is worth considering the option of grinding with a coffee grinder. This requires a special approach, but the result will be worth it.
  9. Please note that such a household appliance should not grind raw materials for a long time. Otherwise, the hot blades will turn the dust into a paste. The procedure is carried out in short series of no more than 20 seconds at a time. It is imperative to observe a break. If you don't want to risk it that way, it makes sense to consider a food processor option. An electric grinder will also work. Almonds will have to be passed through it several times.
  10. Keep in mind that it is not recommended to harvest nut flour for future use, it is better to use it immediately for its intended purpose. Therefore, I still prefer to buy flour. And this method is like a lifesaver in the event that there are interruptions with this product.

How to make almond flour

Ingredients:

  • almonds (if you need 100 g of flour, take 110 g of nuts)
  • blender or coffee grinder

For those biscuits in which color does not play a role (for example, chocolate or black currant), the nuts can be ground without peeling.

In all other cases, unfortunately, the almonds need to be peeled.

Unfortunately, because the matter is, though simple, but tedious.

First, pour boiling water over the nuts and leave for 7-8 minutes.

If you have fresh nuts, then this is already enough for skinning.

If not (basically, the nuts have already been lying for a while), rinse the nuts with cold running water, pour boiling water over again and leave until you can reach them with your hand.

Now clean.

After that, dry the almonds well. If not in a hurry, it is better in a natural way, it is best, but also longer (up to 2 weeks).

I always need it urgently, so I dry it in the oven (you can use the microwave). Dry for an hour at 100 °, 10-15 minutes at 150-160 °, just be careful not to fry.

I usually keep it for 10-15 minutes at 150 °, then turn off the oven and leave it on the residual heat for 10 minutes, but stir it while drying.

Cool the nuts after drying. You can just put it in the freezer for half an hour.

Grind in a blender or coffee grinder in small portions in pulse mode, no longer than 200 seconds at a time. Shake the blender periodically and monitor the temperature of the knives to avoid turning the flour into a paste. If the blender is hot, let it cool down.

Throw the ground portions on a sieve and sift. If you need flour for a biscuit, then a not very fine sieve can be used, but for pasta cakes you will have to sweat and sift the flour through a very fine wire rack.

Residues that are not sieved must be re-grind and sieved.

That's all, flour is ready, you can bake desserts.

If you make flour just before cooking, you can grind it along with the sugar required by the recipe.

It makes no sense to make such flour for the future, because it is not stored for a long time. It is better to keep it in the refrigerator, then it can lie for 2-3 months.
