And now in more detail about the benefits of tea, but first watch the video:

Cancer prevention is 1 cup of tea a day

I think that for many people this fact is unknown - chamomile infusion prevents the formation and development of cancerous tumors due to the content of such a substance as apigenin. It also relieves inflammation and resists the entry of infections into the body. Chamomile consists of apigenin approximately 0.8-1.2% of the total weight. It ranks first among plants in terms of its content.

The named substance is not considered vital, but thanks to it the likelihood of the occurrence of certain types of cancer is reduced, such as:

  1. mammary cancer
  2. thyroid cancer
  3. ovarian cancer
  4. prostate cancer
  5. bowel cancer
  6. lungs' cancer
  7. skin cancer
  8. blood cancer (leukemia)

Apigenin blocks the rapid growth of cancer cells by reducing the supply of nutrients with the bloodstream - there is a contraction of the vessels that feed the tumor cells. It also inhibits the activity of the enzyme ornithine decarboxylase, which can promote tumor growth.

If you regularly consume chamomile tea (2-6 times a week), then the likelihood of thyroid diseases, especially thyroid cancer, is significantly reduced by 70-80%.
Hence we can conclude: for any problem with the endocrine glands, we begin to regularly drink this fragrant drink - one cup of tea a day (200 ml).

Nowadays, we are very often exposed to stress. At home, at work, in private life ... All people deal with stress in their own way.

Some ways just dull it, and some just aren't good for your health. Some people, especially women, "drown out" stress with food, but this is due to the fact that stress raises the level of cortisol, which, in turn, causes cravings for food.

So how can you get rid of stress without harm to health?

Answer: chamomile tea.

Png "alt =" (! LANG: Chamomile tea as a stress reliever" width="500" height="333" srcset="" data-srcset="https://i1.wp..png?w=600&ssl=1 600w, https://i1.wp..png?resize=300%2C200&ssl=1 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" data-recalc-dims="1">!}

My experience with chamomile

Chamomile tea. I'm brewing tea in a thermos. He insists all night and so that it is not too concentrated, I put in a 1 liter thermos 1 tablespoon dried chamomile flowers or 2 tablespoons fresh flowers... I fill it with slightly cooled boiling water (90-95 degrees). I go to bed and awaits me in the morning aromatic tea without caffeine, all the benefits of which I described above.

With this infusion, I gargle and make a compress after a mosquito bite - it’s too bad my reaction to mosquitoes is bad - there is extensive irritation around the bite itself. Chamomile not only relieves my irritation, but also copes with itching.

If I want drink infusion instead of tea, then I, in the same thermos, along with the flowers, add a small stick of ginger root, cut into circles, half a lemon, also chopped. Sometimes I give a small pinch of nutmeg - just a little. Here is such a delicious mixture infused overnight. In the morning I pour myself this fragrant miracle, and in the cup itself, when the tea cools down a little and is warm, I put a teaspoon of honey from our home apiary. It turns out very tasty! Try it!

Infusion for rinsing. It happens that there is no way to wait the whole night for gargling. Then I pour a teaspoon with a top of dry flowers on 100 ml of boiling water and leave it under a lid for 15 minutes. I filter the infusion and use it for rinsing.

For inhalation. I pour the infusion brewed, as for rinsing, into the teapot and breathe in turn one by one nostril from the teapot spout. It helps well with a runny nose and a stuffy nose, relieves dryness and crusting.

For compresses. I filter the infusion and use the whole residue with chamomile flowers to compress on the joints or throat. The remainder is evenly spread on a bandage in several layers and applied to the sore spot. I cover the top with parchment paper or cellophane. I keep it while I feel the warmth.

For baths. I love to take a relaxing chamomile bath - you become calm like a boa constrictor and sleep like a baby. Since I do not like any measurements of volumes, I do this: I boil water in a saucepan, pour the whole pack of chamomile into it (I buy it at the pharmacy) and leave it for about 30 minutes. I pour the strained infusion into the bath, and plunge there, in the fragrant water smelling of childhood. I'm ready to sleep in 15 minutes.
