And this is a great reason to bake very delicious cookies from oatmeal, you will definitely like the recipe for its unspeakable simplicity, because it has only ... four ingredients! Moreover, the cookies are remarkably elegant, crispy, I am not even ashamed to bake them as a gift, they look so presentable. The golden crust seems to be woven from many layers of sweet cobweb. It turns out like this thanks to one trick, which I will talk about below. Another tangible plus of homemade oatmeal cookies is that they are not inferior in benefits to oatmeal. Not a gram of flour, a relatively small amount of oil, and a significant amount of sugar is more than compensated by an impressive set of trace elements and a champion amount of fiber, which are contained in oatmeal.

Ingredients:

  • oatmeal (ground) - 2 cups;
  • 1 egg;
  • 0.75 cups sugar;
  • 70 g butter (or margarine).

How to make oatmeal cookies

The dough for these cookies is kneaded from ground flakes. If you have a stock of whole oatmeal, then this is easily fixable. Use a blender to grind them slightly. And even if you are not the happy owner of a blender, then an ordinary rolling pin will save the day. Transfer the flakes to a sturdy plastic bag and roll the rolling pin over it several times. Mix the oatmeal with sugar.

Melt the butter (or margarine). It is better to use butter, especially if the cookies are for children, but margarine is not that critical either. Add the butter to the oat-sugar mixture.

We drive one egg into a bowl with the ingredients and then carefully mix all the ingredients with our hands.

After two minutes of intensive mixing, the mass will acquire a consistency that can keep its shape.

We spread the resulting balls on a baking sheet covered with parchment, keeping a large distance between them.

Then press the balls from above with a fork, forming flat cookies.

We send a baking sheet with oatmeal cookies to a preheated oven and bake it on a medium wire rack for 25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

Let the cooked liver cool. Then we remove it from the parchment. If the cookies stick (and this is possible due to the large amount of sugar in the dough), then moisten the inside of the parchment with water using a cooking brush. After that, after a minute, the cookies can be easily removed from the paper.

Here we have such a nice liver from oatmeal. Bon Appetit!
