  1. First you need to make the cake dough. We will have 3 cakes with different fillings: poppy seeds, raisins and nuts. If you have three molds of the same size, you can knead the whole dough at once, divide it into 3 equal parts. If there is only one mold, then it is better to prepare the dough separately in three steps so that the baking powder does not "go overboard" while all the cakes are baked one by one. I have one form, with a diameter of 23 centimeters. Therefore, I cook the dough 3 times. To do this, I drive 1 egg into a bowl, add 0.5 tbsp. sugar and 0.5 tbsp. sour cream (glass = 200 g). I stir everything with a spoon.

  2. I add 0.5 tbsp. sifted flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder. Again, I mix everything with a spoon (there is no need to use a mixer, everything connects perfectly).

  3. Then I add 0.5 tbsp. poppy seeds, stir. The dough for the first cake is ready. In consistency, it looks like thick sour cream.

  4. I smear the shape vegetable oil and pour the dough into it. I send it to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

  5. I prepare the dough with nuts in the same way - I add nuts chopped in a blender instead of poppy seeds.

  6. In the third batch I put raisins in the dough.

  7. The result will be 3 cakes - about 3 centimeters high each.

  8. While they are cooling, I prepare a cream: I mix sour cream and sugar, rub with a spoon and put in the refrigerator for 15 minutes so that it thickens slightly. I coat the cakes with sour cream.

Remove from heat and add butter, mix thoroughly again. When the icing has cooled, I cover the top and sides of the cake. If there is no time or desire to cook the icing, you can grease the top of the cake with the same sour cream that was used for the leather impregnation.

Bake at 180-200 C.
Cut each cake in half and coat with cream.
Before spreading the cream, slightly sprinkle the cakes with syrup (jam + water + vodka).
Alternate layers: poppy, nuts, raisins.
The cake should be allowed to stand for a day at room temperature to soak.

NOTE:
Chocolate stars:
Put the chocolate a little melted (so that it is soft) on parchment paper, cover with paper, roll out with a rolling pin like cookie dough and cut out the figures with cookie cutters.
Put in the freezer to solidify.
