  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves
  • Paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
  • Herbs (basil and rosemary) – to taste (fresh or dried)
  • Ground red pepper – ½ teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground black pepper - to taste

Preparation:

Combine all the spices in a marinating container: paprika, cinnamon, dried herbs, ground red and black pepper. If you have fresh herbs, add them to the marinade. Add the pressed garlic and pour in the olive oil. Don't forget to add salt.

Pour the beer over the spices and mix thoroughly so that the spices are distributed evenly throughout the marinade. You can use absolutely any beer, it all depends on your preferences. Add the juice of half a lemon there.

The marinade is ready. Place the chicken in it and marinate for at least 2 hours.

Please note that the chicken will either need to be completely covered in the marinade or will need to be turned during the marinating process.

Once the chicken is marinated, all that's left to do is fry it. I fried chicken in a frying pan. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the chicken in it. Fry the chicken pieces first on one side over high heat until crispy, and then on the other. When frying, it is advisable to put pressure on the chicken so that it browns more evenly.

Then reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and cook the chicken until fully cooked. Frying time will depend on the size of the pieces used. For example, I cooked chicken thighs after frying for another 15 minutes.

Chicken marinated in beer is ready, serve it hot, immediately after frying. Pasta, rice, buckwheat or mashed potatoes are perfect as a side dish. Garnish the finished dish with chopped herbs and serve.
