Yaroslavl Chocolate Factory Manchester Enterprise. Milk chocolate LLC "Manchester Enterprise" Yaroslavl Chocolate factory YR Study perfectly

I had my eyes on Bucheron chocolate for a long time, and if I may say so, a tooth. I hope I will not discover America and everyone who buys it knows that it is also made in Yaroslavl.

Bucheron Baby saw in nature only white with different fillings (kiwi, raspberry), but I wanted to buy something just dairy and just for a child.

Quite by accident, succumbing to a funny name, I threw two tiles into the basket to please the schoolchildren's nephews.

Yes, this chocolate is produced by the same factory as Bucheron, but it is just milk (although there is also the same one with grated hazelnuts)

Well, I don’t know how it affects the mental processes of students, but the taste of milk chocolate is excellent. Thin, delicate, not soapy. Like Alyonka in her best years. Though milk chocolate (40%), but not light, not like a sweet bar. It does not melt and does not sour, as happens if chocolate contains not only milk, but also vegetable fat. The same composition is without harmful excesses. The only thing is that in real chocolate from Switzerland there is and should not be an emulsifier of lecithin, which is usually soy. The bar is divided into small squares, and on each ladybug with a cross on the side - the Swiss coat of arms. What else can be said about chocolate, it must be tried. For lovers of milk-chocolate tenderness.

Chocolate production in Yaroslavl

Confectionery production in our region began to develop in the 19th century, when the first confectionery factory of the merchant Maslenikov (1881) was opened in Yaroslavl on Malaya Fedorovskaya Street (now it is the territory of the Khrom tannery). In 1893, at the World Exhibition in Chicago, it was Maslenikov who represented the confectionery industry of our city.

The traditions laid down by our ancestors have been continued today: since 2013, chocolate has been produced in the village of Varegovo according to pre-revolutionary recipes. Raw materials for the factory come from Switzerland - a country famous for its "chocolate" traditions.

A new type of chocolate produced under the brand name "YR" is made according to the unique recipe "G. Belfort " confectionery factory(a sonorous name in honor of a French town) of another famous Yaroslavl merchant - Vasily Platonovich Kuznetsov, who opened in Yaroslavl in 1902.

Apparently, they themselves, without raw materials from Switzerland, were unable to raise and develop pre-revolutionary traditions.

Even so, the main thing is that people have jobs, and we have very decent chocolate.

I plan to try the products of this manufacturer in full. To be honest, I do not meet them so often.

This particular chocolate was taken in Moscow in the networks "Magnolia" and "Let's Become Friends", the price is about 100 rubles per tile. I have never seen more chocolate with the letters YR.

Real Swiss chocolate is made in the Yaroslavl region. Governor Sergei Yastrebov visited a chocolate factory in the Bolsheselsky district, where they have just launched another line and are preparing to release new products, Vesti reports.

Only natural ingredients, no chemicals or dyes. During the excursion, the governor was shown the entire cycle of coffee production, from the process of roasting, grinding and ending with the packaging of finished products. Second floor - chocolate shops. A second, more powerful line for casting chocolate products was put into operation here. Its capacity is 500 kilograms per hour. This allowed us to triple the production of chocolate. The average age of the company's employees is 37 years. There are no problems with personnel. Manual labor in such a production is indispensable not only in workshops, but also, for example, in a laboratory.

“We sift coffee, particle size, we have a tolerance limit, for each value. We sifted and see how much of a 0.5 mm sieve has settled. And we release in finished products", - says Oksana Kudelina - senior technologist of the enterprise.

One and a half million cans and a million chocolate packs a month go to retail stores in different regions... If in 2014 the factory produced 200 types of products, then in 2015 it already produced more than 280. In the near future - the release of sweets, which have not yet been present at Russian market... And starting from March, the factory intends to produce dry ready-made mixtures for baking. These are three types of bread, as well as all kinds confectionery and even a base for pizza.

“The hostess took it, mixed it and put it in the oven. You don't need to do anything else. Also, for example, a base for pizza. There is nothing easier than making it yourself. You can't imagine how easy it is, ”says Tatiana Abramova, chief technologist of the enterprise.

According to the director, the enterprise is developing rapidly, and it is likely that in the foreseeable future it will be necessary to look for a place in the Yaroslavl region for the construction of a second site. “This year we have built a new warehouse, modern and warm.

Last week, the Rybinsk administration, represented by the department of the consumer market for goods and services, organized a "meeting on the Elbe" between representatives of the city's trade with a coffee, tea and chocolate company. Sweet trail " Manchester Enterprise"Does not lead to the West, but to the Bolsheselsky district, where a factory was founded in the wilderness among the famous Varegov peat bogs.

The event was opened by the acting head of Rybinsk Leonid Mozheiko, noting that providing a platform for communication, establishing business contacts between trade representatives and a local manufacturer is always relevant, and especially today, when the leadership of the country and the region has clearly defined the course for import substitution. The prestige and popularity of local producers should grow, and with them taxes to budgets of different levels.

It is interesting that even those who had tried the products of the large-scale company before could hardly have guessed that it was ours, domestic. Unless, of course, you have not carefully studied the label, the design of which, I must say, looks quite European. Manchester Enterprise remained a dark horse not only for an ordinary Rybinsk buyer.

“For me personally, it was a revelation when, at the Buy Yaroslavskoye fair, along with honey, potatoes, vegetables, we saw this oasis of confectionery production,” shared her impressions Elina Abramovich, head of the consumer market for goods and services. - Firstly, the beautiful, solid packaging attracts the eye, and when you taste the products, you understand that the contents match. We were interested in the products, and we invited the representatives of the company to this meeting. Here today are the heads of trade organizations - both network and retail, cafes and other public catering establishments. I hope the meeting will be useful for all parties, and the townspeople will see the result from it. We are open for cooperation with local manufacturers. Moreover, on the eve of the VI World of Vkusa festival, we hope to discover new names.

During the meeting with Rybinsk entrepreneurs, a presentation of the Manchester Enterprise company and a tasting of its products took place. It was founded in 2012. The empty garages and workshops of the former peat enterprise were adapted for the new production. In the same year, the production of tea and coffee began in Varegov, and in 2013 - chocolate. And in just a few years, Manchester Enterprise has expanded its range to dozens of types of coffee and tea, as well as cocoa and chocolate. Details are in our interview with the CEO of the company Nadezhda Puzdrova.

- Nadezhda Viktorovna, how did your company enter the market?

- We studied the market before starting production in order to determine our niche. Initially, we decided to focus on quality. If we talk about the advantages of our products, this is the complete absence of artificial additives. In our production we use only 100% natural ingredients of high quality.

- What is Manchester Enterprise producing now?

- We have a fairly wide assortment - more than 200 items, in the near future we are introducing 50 more. The main directions are tea, coffee and chocolate. Now we are cooperating with the Yaroslavl chains "Lotos", "House of Food", "Eliseevskie" stores. In Rybinsk, our products are in Druzhba, in the city's markets.

- Tell us about the plans of the company.

- We want to expand our representation in Yaroslavl - first of all, and in Russia as a whole. In the near future, we are planning to enter the European and Asian markets, and again we rely on quality and assortment. Also in the plans is the opening of its own boutique, so far only in Yaroslavl. But Rybinsk will probably be the second city. We are actively working in this direction.

- In connection with the course towards import substitution, do you expect any preferences for yourself?

- Yes, now the corresponding presidential decree is being actively implemented. Fairs are held under the slogan "Buy Russian", in which we regularly participate - almost every week in different cities. And we have successes in this direction. But our task is not just to sell more goods, but to show the consumer our products in full assortment, since not all chains today have the opportunity to present our entire product range on the shelf. And thanks to such promotions, this opportunity appears.

- All your production is concentrated in the Bolsheselsky district. Why was this particular location chosen?

- Of course, it is no coincidence that the production site is located in the Yaroslavl region. Yaroslavl is the best place in Russia to open a large confectionery production. He himself is considered a confectionery brand, whose history began with the appearance in 1881 of the first confectionery factory owned by the merchant Maslennikov. And our company has taken a course towards reviving the rich Yaroslavl confectionery traditions. Today our factory is a high-tech production, employing over 170 people. It is equipped modern equipment, mainly made in Germany, England, Taiwan, Turkey. It allows you to ensure a high level of quality at every stage of the production cycle.

- The company is Russian, and the name is English. Why?

- This is due to the fact that we manufacture products of European quality. We were initially aimed at European quality standards. Today they are stricter than Russian ones.

- What is the situation with the personnel? The village today, alas, is very poor in human resources.

- Yes, our factory is in the countryside, but the staff is mostly urban. As for the top managers, we have them from all over Russia: a technical director from Nizhnevartovsk, a production manager from Bryansk, there are specialists from Moscow, Ivanov, Krasnodar and other cities. Eighty percent of the employees are Yaroslavl, as well as Tutaev, Nikolskoye, Bolshoye Selo, Varegovo. We provide accommodation for nonresidents. We have good social conditions, corporate transport that brings workers to production. We also attract by the level of wages. We make sure that it is higher in our country than in the region in this sector of the economy. And, of course, the company is interested in improving the qualifications of its personnel. Pre-preparation of raw chocolate is carried out at Swiss and Belgian factories, with which we work closely, develop joint recipes, and therefore send specialists for training at least once a month.

- The market for chocolate, tea and coffee is very dynamic. The consumer needs to constantly surprise with something new. What direction does your company follow?

- According to statistical studies, chocolate products account for only 8% of the total confectionery. Therefore, this direction has great potential for development. If you have already noticed, we are the initiators of many ideas that other manufacturers no longer have. As for the trends in the market, today they are as follows. Consumers are tired of sweet bars that cannot be called chocolate, and they miss natural products. Plus, now there is a fairly large selection, and buyers have become more discerning, people perfectly understand where natural chocolate is and where not.

- It turns out that production of the European level may well grow in Russia?

- Of course, we have everything to develop dynamically. If we talk only about coffee, then a month we produce about a million packaging units of products. Together with chocolate - one million three hundred. At the same time, we do not work at the warehouse. But the bar before us is higher. And now our task is to expand production areas, assortment and our representation in the region and Russia. Today's presentation for representatives of trade in Rybinsk is also being held in order to implement these plans.
