Recipe with photos step by step:

In a large mixing bowl, crack the egg and the indicated amount of vanilla and standard sugar. Mix with a fork or whisk until smooth.

Add low-fat cottage cheese to the bowl or use full-fat homemade cottage cheese, it doesn’t matter. You can rub it through a strainer so that the curd has a uniform size and the curd sticks have a uniform structure.

Beat the cottage cheese with eggs and sugar in a blender until you get a creamy mass and no extra lumps remain.

Sift the wheat flour through a sieve and add little by little to the whipped cottage cheese. At the same time, have time to stir so that unnecessary lumps do not form from the flour.

Knead the dough into an elastic and soft dough until the dough becomes firm and does not lose its shape. Wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll the curd dough into a sausage shape on a floured board. Using a sharp knife, cut off pieces of dough, future cottage cheese sticks.

Roll the cut pieces into sticks. Do this procedure with your hands and roll from the middle of the dough to the edges.

Place a frying pan or saucepan on the stove and pour in a sufficient amount of sunflower oil, then wait until the oil is hot. Place the prepared curd sticks and fry on both sides until golden brown over low heat.

After frying, transfer the finished product to a plate with a napkin so that all unnecessary fat can drain off. Let cool slightly.

the sticks are ready. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.

Cottage cheese is a product that is both tasty and very healthy. But, unfortunately, not everyone likes this product in its original form. Of course, if you mix it with granulated sugar or sour cream, and add seedless raisins or dried apricots, you get a completely different dish, which many people prefer for breakfast.

But cottage cheese can be used to make not only this light dessert for breakfast. It makes delicious pastries, desserts, pies, cakes and much more. And what a delicious casserole it makes. Remember how in childhood cottage cheese casserole was often given in kindergarten. Moreover, if you pour thick jelly on top of it, the result is simply delicious! If you wish, you can always find an interesting recipe.

This dairy product is also used in the preparation of carbonated cheese curds, which our children love very much. Well, each of us prepared cheesecakes, lazy dumplings or cottage cheese pancakes.

As usual, first prepare the necessary products:
200 g wheat flour, pre-sifted,
half a kilogram of low-fat fresh cottage cheese (I buy it at the store),
150 g sour cream of any fat content,
120 g granulated sugar,
for frying we prepare vegetable oil (I take sunflower),
2 eggs,
baking soda on the tip of a knife,
salt to taste.

powdered sugar for dusting.

1. Place cottage cheese, eggs, flour, granulated sugar, soda and salt to taste in a bowl.

2. Now mix all the prepared ingredients well. Place the finished dough on the table and knead lightly. It’s not really necessary, otherwise our sticks won’t turn out airy. Now let the finished dough rest for a while.

3. Divide the curd dough into two parts. From each part we roll out a sausage, which we then cut into equal pieces, approximately 7 cm long. Let sit for a while.

4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to fry the curd sticks. Place the sticks in the heated oil and fry them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

5. Take out the fried sticks onto a dish and let the remaining vegetable oil drain from them. Cool slightly.

6. Carefully transfer them to a dry, clean dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top. Ready cottage cheese dessert can be served with tea. Or you can just add sour cream, jam or preserves. It's also very tasty. Bon appetit everyone!
