To prepare this dish, we need the following products: traditional American barbecue sauce - "Hickory" variety, salty soy sauce, Manis ketchup, this is the same soy sauce, only concentrated and has a sweet taste, a little tomato paste for color. We'll also need Worcestershire sauce, traditionally used for barbecue dishes. We figured out the sauces, now let's move on to the spices. We need the following spices: ground black pepper, ground chili pepper, a mixture of spices and seasonings for barbecue meat, garlic, lemon, olive oil and salt.

So let's get started. It is very important for us that the meat turns out to be very aromatic and with a haze aroma inherent in barbecue dishes.
We measure out the required amount of spices and seasonings, peel three cloves of garlic.


In a container convenient for you, which can be covered with a lid and sent to the refrigerator, put our spices and squeeze the garlic there, passing the chives through the garlic press.

Now let's add the sauces: add one tablespoon of Worcester sauce.


Now it's the turn of the soy sauce, my soy sauce is not concentrated, so I add one tablespoon. If your soy sauce is concentrated, add only a teaspoon, otherwise your ribs will be very dark in color when cooked, like burnt.


Ketchup Manis is a type of soy sauce. This sauce tastes much sweeter than regular soy sauce. We also add one tablespoon of this sauce.


Now it's time for the BBQ sauce. The variation of this "Hickory" sauce I use because it has a richer "haze" flavor, you can use any barbecue sauce that is available in your stores. We also need one tablespoon of this sauce.


The next ingredient: lemon juice, you can squeeze the juice from fresh lemon, and if you don't have one available, you can use, like me, store-bought lemon juice.


The first time I cooked pork ribs using this recipe, it did not have tomato paste and the ribs were very dark in color, so I improved my recipe a bit and now I also add one teaspoon of concentrated tomato paste.


When all the ingredients are already in our container, use a whisk to whisk the resulting marinade sauce until smooth.

With the resulting marinade sauce, we carefully, but thoroughly, with a sufficiently thick layer, coat each piece of meat on the ribs using a culinary silicone brush.


When all our ribs are coated with marinade sauce, we put them tightly in a container, cover with a lid, observing tightness, and send our ribs in the refrigerator for an hour and a half so that they are well marinated. If you are not in a hurry, then you can marinate the ribs for a little longer, you can even leave them in the marinade overnight, but always in the refrigerator.


We take our pickled pork ribs out of the refrigerator. You can, of course, blot the marinade off the ribs with paper tea towels if you're worried that the ribs might burn in the oven. I usually don't do this, because I cook the ribs in the oven at a low temperature, so the sauce just evaporates and does not burn.
IMPORTANT: I ​​cook pork ribs in the oven on the wire rack. But during the cooking process, the ribs will give juice, so it is better to put a tray on the bottom of the oven so that the liquid flows there.


We warm up our oven, for this we set the thermostat at around 150 g C. We send our ribs to the oven for 40-60 minutes. During this time, we will periodically take out our ribs and grease them with the marinade in which the ribs were marinated using a silicone brush.
I never throw away the leftover marinade, I pour it into a saucepan and let it boil, and then serve in a gravy boat with ready-made ribs.
How do we know if our ribs are ready or not? To do this, see if the meat has fallen behind the bone, or if it is still very tightly adhered to the bone. Barbecue ribs are good because the bone just barely holds the finished meat. Preparing such a dish is very simple. It is much more difficult to wait out the time the meat is in the oven, because the smell is stunning. For a side dish, for example, you can cook rice with vegetables.

We will need:

  • Pork ribs - 1 kg.
  • Ready-made mustard - to taste
  • Salt and favorite spices such as ground red pepper, barbecue seasoning mix
  • Baking foil

Preparation:

Rinse the ribs and blot with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut into pieces by two ribs.

Rub with salt and spices, coat with mustard on both sides. If you have time, leave it to marinate in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.

We send the meat on foil, wrap it tightly in several layers.

  • Pork ribs - 1 kg.
  • Potatoes - 6-7 pcs.
  • Zucchini - 0.5 pcs.
  • Onions - 1 head
  • Tomatoes - 100-200 gr.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 3 teeth.
  • Seasoning - to taste
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Flour - 3 tablespoons

Preparation:

Cut the ribs lengthwise into portioned pieces, if necessary, cut them lengthwise. We send the seasoning, I use red and black ground pepper, a mixture of basil, coriander and paprika, bay leaf, a mixture of marjoram, caraway seeds, mustard seed.

Peel the onion, chop it in half rings, send it to the ribs. Then we pass 3 cloves of garlic through a press. We mix everything well, let us nourish with seasonings for 3 hours.

In the meantime, rinse and peel the zucchini skin, chop into small pieces.

Peel the potatoes, wash them, cut them into cubes. Peel the carrots, chop them into cubes.

Combine vegetables in a bowl, add flour and salt, mix well.

Put on a baking sheet, greased with sunflower oil. Cut the tomatoes into small pieces, put them on top of the vegetables. We clean the pepper from seeds, chop it into pieces, send it after the tomatoes.
