Pizza with chicken and corn on yeast dough is quite simple to prepare if you are not preparing it for the first time. For beginners, you will need a detailed guide. Making pizza consists of several important steps: kneading the dough, preparing the sauce, preparing the toppings, and baking. After preparing pizza according to the same recipe several times, you will start making it “automatically”.

List of ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. without a pile of dry yeast,
  • 0.5 tsp. Sahara,
  • 125 ml warm water,
  • 300 g wheat flour,
  • 1 pinch of salt (for dough),
  • 1.5 tsp. salt,
  • 350 g chicken fillet,
  • 300 g hard cheese,
  • 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste (200 ml tomato juice),
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 sweet pepper,
  • 3 cloves of garlic,
  • 0.5 tsp. dried basil,
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil,
  • 100 g canned corn.

Preparation

1. Pour half a glass of water heated to 35-38 degrees into a bowl, add sugar and dry yeast, stir and wait until the yeast begins to act. After 5-10 minutes, a “cap” of foam should rise on the surface of the water.

2. Add sifted flour and add a pinch of salt.

3. Start stirring the dough; if you see that there is not enough flour, add more. Knead into a soft, elastic, slightly sticky dough. Cover it with a damp towel and put it in a warm place to let the dough rise - for an hour or two.

4. While the dough is rising, make the filling. To make the pizza tasty, there must be a lot of cheese. Ideally, it is laid both down and at the very top. Cut the cheese into thin slices or grate on a coarse grater.

5. Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips or squares.

6. The sauce is very simple to make: saute chopped peppers, onions and garlic in olive oil for 3-4 minutes, then add tomato paste and 100 ml of water. After this, add dried herbs and spices to taste, stir and simmer the sauce over low heat until thickened, about 10 minutes.

7. When the dough has risen, lightly knead it and transfer it to the work surface. Release the air by hitting the center of the dough ball.

8. Line a baking tray with baking paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Place the dough there and stretch it in different directions with your hands. The cake should be thin.

9. Lubricate the pizza blank with the prepared sauce, the more sauce there is, the juicier the pizza will be, however, do not overdo it.

10. Place pieces of cheese on top of the workpiece (2/3 of the total amount). Some of the cheese can be grated to sprinkle on top of the pizza.

11. Lay out the chicken pieces and salt each of them.

There is no doubt that every housewife has her own homemade pizza recipe, whether from homemade dough or from a ready-made store-bought base. If you have some free time, it is best to make your own pizza crust. There are many options here, depending on taste preferences. Classic pizza should be thin, but, nevertheless, pizza made with yeast dough is no less popular.

Having eaten a small piece of such tasty and fluffy food, you can forget about hunger for several hours. As with any other type of this delicious snack pastry, the composition of the filling can be completely different, from sausage to seafood.

Today I want to offer you my recipe for pizzas made with yeast dough with a completely standard set of filling ingredients, consisting of sausage, cheese, tomatoes and canned corn. This one turns out not only colorful in appearance, but also juicy due to fresh tomatoes and corn.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • Yeast – 20 gr.,
  • Water – 1 glass,
  • Salt - half a teaspoon,
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon,
  • Sunflower vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. spoon,
  • Wheat flour – 1 cup.

Filling ingredients:

  • Sausage – 100 gr.,
  • Ketchup – 3 tbsp. spoons,
  • Canned corn – about 70 gr.,
  • Hard cheese – 50 gr.,
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs.

Pizza with sausage and corn - recipe

Before we begin the recipe for yeast dough, I want to note that it is best to cook it, like any other yeast-based baked goods, with live or, as they are also called, “wet” yeast. The fact is that dry yeast is quite capricious and is not always suitable, especially if the bag with it was stored in inappropriate conditions. Therefore, I recommend giving preference to “wet yeast”. Crumble the yeast into warm water with your hands into small crumbs.

Add sugar for better fermentation.

Pour in two tablespoons of refined oil.

After this, add salt. Mix everything with a whisk.

Add wheat flour into the dough in portions, stirring constantly.

The dough should turn out quite thick - thicker than for, but at the same time not tight.

Leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes until it rises. Place the yeast dough on a pan greased with sunflower oil. Spread it out on all sides so that it is an even layer.

Cut tomatoes and smoked sausage into half rings.

Grease the dough with ketchup or tomato sauce.

Lay out the sausage.

Place tomatoes between the sausage.

Add canned corn. Before you sprinkle the pizza with cheese, you can also pour mayonnaise on top.

Finally, sprinkle the pizza with grated cheese on a medium grater.

Place the pizza pan in an oven preheated to 175 C. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Ready pizza with sausage and corn should double in volume and the cheese will be completely melted.

500 grams store-bought pizza dough, brought to room temperature

100 grams bacon, cut into 4 slices

1 cob of fresh sweet boiled corn or a jar of pickled corn

1 green hot pepper, cut into rings, you can remove the seeds or not

About 1/4 medium red onion, chopped

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup plain yogurt or sour cream

100 grams cotija cheese (this Mexican cheese is very similar to feta cheese but without the brine)

2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced

½ teaspoon red pepper

cilantro leaves

Cooking Mexican pizza with corn

Preheat oven to highest temperature 220 degrees

Place the pizza tray on the bottom shelf.

In a cast iron skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until almost crisp. Remove using tongs onto a paper towel.

In the same pan, add a whole cooked corncob and cook for about five minutes, turning until browned on all sides. Remove and once cool, cut the corn from the cob and place it in a small bowl. Set aside.

In a frying pan, fry the onion and hot pepper, not much, until half cooked, about 1-2 minutes. Combine in a bowl with the corn.

In a small bowl, combine yogurt or sour cream with mayonnaise and mix well.

Take out the dough and roll out into a 30cm circle.

Dust the counter with cornmeal and turn the dough out with more flour on top. Let it sit for a while, make sure it doesn't shrink.

Pour and spread half of the mayonnaise mixture onto the dough, leaving only a 2cm edge unsmeared.

Place half the bacon, corn, peppers, onions, and all the garlic on top of the sauce. Then sprinkle with cheese and add the other half of bacon, corn, peppers and onions.

Sprinkle red pepper all over the pizza, then place it in the oven.

It took us just over 7 minutes to bake, but your time will depend on your oven.

Place pizza on your cutting board and cut into 6 or 8 slices.

Squeeze the lime juice over the pizza and also sprinkle with cilantro.

Drizzle with mayonnaise mixture and serve.

  8. Preheat the oven and place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  9. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet and distribute tomato paste over its entire surface.
  10. Then carefully lay out the sausage slices, pour in the corn and add spices.
  11. Place in the oven to bake for 25-35 minutes.

After the corn pizza is ready, sprinkle it with grated cheese, garnish with finely chopped green onions and put it back in the oven until the cheese begins to melt.

In this cooking method we will use ready-made dough, which can be found on the shelves of any supermarket. The filling will be mushrooms, corn, tomatoes and feta cheese.

Ingredients for pizza with corn and mushrooms:

  • ready-made yeast dough - 1 package;
  • canned corn - 300 g;
  • champignons - 250 g;
  • onions - 1 pc.;
  • feta cheese - 150 g;
  • sour cream - 125 g;

  4. Open the package with yeast dough, sprinkle it with flour and give it the desired shape.

  6. Lubricate the base with sour cream sauce and garlic and lay out the fried mushrooms.
  7. Then sprinkle corn on top, add onion rings and sprinkle the future pizza with spices.
  8. Place in the oven to bake for 20-30 minutes.

After the specified period of time, we take out our pizza with corn and mushrooms, sprinkle with feta cheese cut into small pieces and put it back in the oven for literally 5-7 minutes. If desired, you can add some tomatoes.
